Nobody Lonely: It Is In Your Hands!
Yes, that is correct. Nobody needs to feel lonely. You know, this matter is not different from many of our other challenges. It is up to us to accept being crushed and keep complaining about the unfairness of our fate, alone, with no friends to whom to talk, or take things in our own hands and actively work on resolving a situation, which is, in this case, to fight that state of solitude.
In these times of easy communication we have numerous opportunities to break the walls of loneliness down and reach for a friend, a hand that is waving at us at any moment. Granted, in the midst of all the solicitations, caution is utterly warranted. Indeed, questionable characters of all shapes and kinds are lurking around each corner and behind every bush, ready to pounce the easy preys people become when in stressful situations. However, with a reasonable amount of awareness, it is possible to tread one’s way through the many groups, clubs and social websites such as Facebook, MySpace and others .
Maybe you do not feel like joining any group at the moment and searching for a date or a partner is not on your mind. Very often, a hobby such as painting, music, model building, knitting or else, not to mention a dog, cat, bird, fish, plant, can become a great and reliable companion, whether you are a man or a woman. All those elements can become avenues to reach other people through clubs, groups and forums, or can be enjoyed for what they are.
One more way to take things in one’s hands is to go ahead and help others. Such a strategy has many benefits. Not only you help people out but you also shift your attention from your little — or big, depending on your ego! — self, to focus on the cause to which you are dedicating yourself. That way, you do not have the time to feel sorry for yourself. Unless you want to schedule it!
